2.1 Visitation Tracking

This site uses Google Analytics to track user interaction. This data is used to better understand how people find us and use our webpages as well as to determine the number of people using our site.

If you choose to leave a review on products on our website your name and email address you enter with your review will be saved to this websites database along with your computer’s IP address and the time and date that you submitted the review. This information is only used to identify you as a contributor to the websites product reviews and is not passed on to any third party data processors. Only your name and date the review was left will be shown on the public facing website. If your supplied email address is linked to a Gravatar account, your Gravatar photo will be displayed.

Your review and its associated personal data will remain on this site until we either:

  2. Remove the product it relates to

2.3 Contact Forms and Email links

Should you contact us using the contact form on this website (found on the contact us page) or an email link, none of the data supplied by you will be stored on this websites database. Neither will it be passed to / be processed by any of the third party data processors. Instead the data will be collated into an email and sent over Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP). Our SMTP servers are protected by TLS/SSL meaning that the email content is encrypted. The email content is then decrypted by our local computers and devices.

This website uses Woocommerce to process orders. When making a purchase on this website certain information that you provide to us is collected and stored in our database to allow us to process your order.

This includes your name, address, email address, telephone number and IP address. You can also choose to create an account with us for future purchases. This means your information is stored on our database. This information is for our use only and is not passed onto to any third parties.

If you have created an account with Island Ink Cartridges and wish for it to be removed you can do so by emailing sales@islandinkcartridges.co.uk using the email address that the account has been setup with.

Paypal – We accept payments through PayPal. Paypal is a third party processor. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to PayPal, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information. Stripe – We accept payments through Stripe which is an online payment gateway, this includes the use of Apple Pay & Google Pay. When processing payments some of your data will be passed to Stripe via an encrypted connection for security checks such as purchase total and billing information.
